Hello Crafty People!

Today it’s still Christmas in July over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends, so I’ve got some more festive inspiration for you. This time a set of 4 Christmas Cards that are perfect to use yourself or give as a gift.
I started with an image from this week’s sponsors, Sheepski’s Designs; they kindly sent over some images for the DT to use and I chose Winter Deer.
I sized & printed the images for an A2 card using Silhouette Studio, and then I added added foil to them using my laminator. I chose to make 2x Gold foil & 2x Silver foil. I didn’t get a perfect foiling to be honest, but I actually don’t mind that, it adds a sort of vintage look to the actual image.
I ink blended on the panels after foiling them, choosing to do blue & green; each colour having both a silver and a gold foiled image. Once the ink blending was completely dry, I embossed my sentiment, matching gold or silver EP with the foiling.
Then I used the WOW embossing mixed media brush to put embossing ink on the side of each panel and added some Sparkling Snow EP (also from WOW.)
I popped up each panel onto an A2 kraft card base using foam adhesive and called these done!
Thank you for stopping by today, if you’re new here I’d love it if you could follow my blog and maybe even check out some of my other social media links.
