Bulbs of Flowers – New Rachel Vass Designs Release

Hey Crafty People!

So, you guys, I got a full time DT spot with Rachel Vass Designs!! Fresh from my Guest spot last month I’m now rocking a full time DT badge and I am loving it!!!

This week’s release has so many of my favourite things; including flowers and punny sentiments. I seriously love me a good pun!!!

I printed the flower bulb and sentiment then cut them on my Cameo 4 before colouring in my image with really quick, easy Copic colouring. I used a really light blue to colour the bulb in and then I covered it in Glossy Accents and set that aside to dry.

I recently acquired this absolutely gorgeous background die by Pinkfresh Studios and I have been desperate to try it out! I love adding a tone on tone background by using a white die cut panel over a white card base. I love the texture and interest that it gives to a card, but all whilst allowing your focal image to really shine.

I added silver foil over my sentiment, using a laminator and WOW Fab Foil. (*I have talked about this technique a few times in previous posts but I do have a foiling video in the works, so stay tuned!)

I’m so excited to be joining such an incredibly talented team and I can’t wait to share the AMAZING releases that Rachel has planned for the near future!
