Hey Crafty People!

This month we are honouring my very favourite time of year; Autumn! Fall is the most beautiful & meaningful times of the year and I was totally up for the Autumnal theme of this month’s hop!!
So much so that I actually forgot to add this month’s hoarded supply! 🤦🏻♀️ It’s sequins this month and to be honest I don’t really have any that I don’t use…and I’ve been wanting to use this stamp set but hadn’t gotten round to it before now. So it still counts 😉🙈
I made both of these at the same time I was experimenting with Distress Inks & Oxides for a video (which you will find here!)
So I’ve got 2 cards, both using the same stamp, embossing powder, card stock and colour; but one is Distress Ink & the other is Oxide!
This is the brand new colour from Tim Holtz, called Crackling Campfire and let me tell you, I. LOVE. IT.
It makes my Fall loving heart skip a beat all the way to my blending brushes!! 😍

The image & sentiment are both from a set I got in a crafty magazine and I embossed them onto Desert Storm environmental cardstock in White Pearl embossing powder from WOW!
Then I blended the colour from the bottom, allowing it to fade out once I was past the image and sentiment.
I kept these really simply, just putting it onto a white a2 card base, offsetting it for a bit of a different look.
You’ll find lots more Autumnal inspiration by following the hop!
The next stop is the very sweet Sam with some video inspiration!

I made some other cards with it last week, I think it was, and I’m in love!!
I wasn’t too fussed on the Speckled Egg, but I had to get this as soon as I saw it!!! 😍😍😍

Thank you Bory 🥰 I’m quite enjoying some simple ink blended cards with just a bit of stamping or foiling at the moment!
I definitely feel like I go through phases!

Natasha, these are so pretty! Those backgrounds are gorgeous and I love how the embossing just pops off them! That sentiment is especially fitting in this crazy year when none of us feel like we have any control. I haven’t picked up the new Campfire color, but clearly I need to. Besides, you can never have too many reds! Sorry it took so long to make the rounds… juggling other due dates and technical difficulties. And as you know, I had to clear up the mess of sequins on my desk!!!

You’re doing better than me…I’ve not cleared up either my sequin stash or my desk! 😂😂😂🤦🏻♀️
