Hello Crafty People!
I’m back with another dose of inspiration for your Saturday morning! This week I’m bringing out the Just Soar stamp set from Catherine Pooler again but I’m ditching the Rainbows for a flurry of beautiful Monarch Butterflies. I just LOVE how this card turned out, it was definitely one of those that you look at and think ‘heck, yeah! I made that!’ ?
Beautiful Monarch Butterflies…
I don’t think there is a single Butterfly species more iconic than the Monarch; their gorgeous amber glow is instantly recognisable and I knew that it would jump off a very clean & simple white background. I wanted the Butterflies to appear like they are flying around freely and that this was just a snapshot of a wider scene.
I know I tend to lean towards rainbows, but I gotta say, Mother Nature sure knew what she was doing when she made these beauties so I followed her example.
Copic Markers Used:
Lightest: Y02, Y08, Y17
Mid: Y17, YR15, YR16
Darkest: YR15, YR16, YR68
