I’ve hardly had any crafty time recently and I can always tell when I’m desperate for some crafty therapy, so I’m super glad to have got some time to finally play with some newer Erin Lee Creative products! This card is for sure Beach Ready, just in time for the Summer Holidays! ?

Beach Ready – How To

1. Die cut the Layered Starfish from white cardstock. Emboss the top layer in Paint Me Golden embossing powder from my Reputation Trio and ink blend the bottom with a warm brown ink. Layer on top of each other and set aside to dry.
2. Take the Freestyle Reinker directly to a piece of Navy cardstock to get a random scribbled coverage of ink, then emboss with White Puff powder.
3. Tear across to give an organic edge and then cover this edge with embossing ink. Add multiple layers of the White Puff powder to build up some height to the edge of your wave.
4. Tear off further down and repeat the steps so that you have two layers.
5. Adhere a double layer of vellum to the top of the first layer, adhering from behind with adhesive tape, then add onto the second layer with foam adhesive to give added dimension.
6. For the sand element, adhere a thin strip of pale gold Centura Pearl cardstock.
7. Splatter an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb with blue metallic watercolour and adhere your waves & Starfish with foam adhesive.
8. Foil an sentiment from the Hey Sentiments set in Gold on white glossy cardstock, and die cut with the coordinating die before adding to the card with a double layer of foam adhesive.
