Hey Crafty People!
I absolutely love the look of a gorgeous alcohol ink background but I have a very small craft room with no ventilation so it isn’t something that I can really achieve.
As soon as I saw this paper pad from Honey Bee Stamps I just HAD to get it!!! Now, I am happily cheating my way to alcohol ink backgrounds.
- Trim down one of the backgrounds in the Team Tie-Dye 6×6 paper pack to 4in x 5.25in and adhere to an a2 white side folding card base.
- Cut the base layer of the Lovely Layers Heart Vine from Silver metallic cardstock, and cut the detail layer from Neenah 80lb. Attach the two together with some dots of glue in the centre, leaving the outsides free.
- Stamp the Happy Birthday sentiment from Thinking Of You Big Time in black ink and die cut using the coordinating die. Die cut an additional couple of plain white layers to stack up behind the sentiment layer.
- Glue both the sentiment and the Vine to the background and add some blue & teal gems to accent.
