Spellbinders have a fabulous new release live on the website now! It’s called Hexi-Gems and it is absolutely STUNNING!!!

I’m sharing the first of my projects made using this fabulous release today, and I’ll have more inspiration throughout the month, so buckle up!

1. Start by foiling the different pieces; HexiGems Bloom in Rose Gold, the Solid HexiGems plate in Pewter and a sentiment from Glimmer Sentiments in Black foil.
2. Die cut the Blooms image and colour with Copic Markers. (Colours listed below.)
3. Die cut the foiled Hexagon with the die which is slightly smaller than it and then use long bladed scissors to trim round the remaining foiled shape to create a thin frame.
4. Using foam tape on the back of the florals, position the thin frame behind it and use this to work out where it will sit against your solid hexagon.
5. Cut the smallest Hexagon from the part of the larger one which will be covered by the floral and adhere all of the pieces onto an a2 panel of white cardstock. (Double the foam tape behind the floral & frame for added dimension.
6. Add your sentiment with liquid adhesive.
7. Trim the panel down to 4 x 5.25inch and adhere onto an a2 panel of black cardstock.
8. Embellish with Sapphire gems.
