Today im playing with the Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for February 2022 and sharing a technique for turning any image into a pull tab, slider card really easily. No specialist dies needed!
How To Turn ANY Image Into An Interactive Card
This layering die set has a slit already cut into the top to allow a piece of paper to be fed out of the typewriter, but you can add a slit at the top of any image to allow an interactive element.
By cutting two of the bases, and taking away the bulk of the second die cut by cutting out the middle, we are creating a space for our pull tab element to slide in & out. You could have an image which is split into two, allowing one part to be pulled to reveal a hidden sentiment/surprise. The example I give in the video is an egg, which splits to reveal a chick!
You can use this simple technique to turn anything into a really simple interactive element! Let your imagination run wild!!!
