Hey Crafty People!
Today, I’m sharing a bright and bold card featuring a gorgeous rainbow foiled background using some of my favourite supplies from My Perfect Stamp. If you love foil and want a pop of colour, this is the perfect project for you!
Rainbow Fab Foiled
- Foil a Gina K Foilable panel using WOW Bright Gold Fab Foil for a shiny, foiled background.
- Choose three shades for each colour of the rainbow (for example, three shades of red, three shades of orange, etc.).
- Working left to right, blend the three shades within each individual brick for an ombré effect. There should be no blending between the different colours—each brick stands on its own.-
- Die cut the word ‘hugs’ from double-sided foam adhesive and press WOW Gold Fab Foil into the adhesive to create a foiled sentiment.
- Die cut a shadow piece for the word from black cardstock to help the sentiment pop.- Complete the sentiment with Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers, cutting them into a strip and adhering it below the word ‘hugs’.
- Embellish the card with black glitter flat sequins for an extra touch of sparkle.
This was such a mindful colouring session for me. Focusing on one brick at a time, without blending the colours between bricks, was so relaxing and satisfying. It’s always great to enjoy the process as much as the final result!
