Today is an exciting one, with a brand new Catherine Pooler release…including INKS! ?

Theres a freebie available with purchase over on their site and I’ve used this awesome Retro Love die set to create two cards, so let’s go!

Card 1 – Tone on Tone Retro Love

1. Die cut the word die repeatedly from white cardstock.
2. Create a fun coloured paper using Sangria & Queen For A Day mini ink pads. Touch the ink to your cardstock several times, then add the other colour, overlapping. (TIP! To avoid contaminating your lighter ink, always use this one first and darker inks last.) Leave to dry.
3. Die cut the Love word from this coloured cardstock. Stack up two white layers behind for dimension.
4. Adhere to an a2 panel of the same white cardstock.
5. Fill in the rest of the panel with the other white die cuts.
6. OPTIONAL: Add a foiled Sub Sentiment.
7. Embellish with Loveladies sequins.

Card 2 – Grungy Retro Love

1. Colour a panel of cardstock by taking your Pebble ink pad directly to the paper. Swipe to cover the entire piece.
2. Pour Rock Rebel embossing powder over the entire panel and heat set.
3. Use the shadow die to cut around the negative piece from card 1. Use washi tape to keep it in place whilst cutting.
4. Offset a white die cut beneath to give a drop shadow and help the word stand out! (Don’t forget the little bit from inside the ‘o’!)
5. Tear a strip of vellum, then scrunch it up to give some fabulous texture. Adhere your sentiment onto this strip.
6. Cut down a large strip of the embossed cardstock, and stack 2-3 layers of scrap cardstock behind it for dimension. Add your vellum strip by folding and glueing the ends over the edge of the panel.)
7. Adhere to an a2 cardbase and embellish with more Loveladies sequins.
