I love a large, versatile stamp and this one from Pinkfresh Studios certainly fits the bill!! I’ve made so many of my Christmas cards using this beautiful stamp and here is one more!
I know that some people do colour over embossing, but I’ve just never wanted to risk the nibs of my precious Copics! So I’m sharing a tip for getting the same look with no risk!
I started by stamping in a very pale grey ink using my MISTI, it’s essential that you use some type of stamp positioned and leave the stamp in situ, as we will be restamping the image and the technique only works if the second stamping is perfectly aligned with the first.
I then grabbed a couple of green 2 marker blends, a red blend and a couple of browns and set about colouring in the images
Once I had finished colouring I used my anti static powder tool on the whole panel and put it back into my MISTI.
This time I stamped with WOW’s Ultra Slow Drying ink and added their gorgeous Superfine Platinum EP.
Once heat set, I added my panel onto an a2 card base made from Neenah 110lb, using adhesive foam tape.
Simple, but oh so beautiful!
