No matter how long I’ve been heat embossing for, there will always be some results which just make me go WOW. That’s exactly what happened with this embossing onto heat embossing technique did and I can’t wait to show you!

Heat Embossing onto Heat Embossing

1. Cover an A5 sheet of WOW cardstock with Say You’ll Remember Me from my new Reputation Trio, fully heat set it and allow to cool completely.
2. Place your embossed panel into a MISTI (or similar) and position the large flower stamp from Alex Syberia Designs Hello Lovely stamp set. Cover the embossed panel in anti static powder, because the embossed panel will attract powder everywhere you don’t want it!
3. Stamp the flower with WOW Embossing Ink, be sure to apply soft but gentle pressure across the whole image. Then apply Gold Rich Pale powder over and tap the excess away.
4. When you heat set it you need to be sure to keep your heat gun moving because you want to melt the Gold powder without re-melting or overcooking the red embossing. Cut the flower out with the coordinating die and set aside.
5. Die cut the Modern Stripes Cover Die from WOW cardstock and glue it onto an a2 panel of the same for a subtle tone-on-tone background.
6. Add the flower on top, at an angle, popped up on foam adhesive. Trim the edges with a pair of long blade scissors.
7. Cut the shadow part of the Celebrate die set from card embossed with Gold Metallic Sparkle then the word from Navy cardstock.
8. Bling it up with some gold pearl embellishments.

Use That Extra Up!

1. Apply glue to the back of all of the leftover pieces of embossed cardstock, and adhere it directly onto an a2 panel. (Leave the negative bits still attached to the die so that you can easily make sure they all adhere in the right spot.)
2. Emboss the large floral image in Gold Rich Pale embossing powder and die cut. Slot this straight into the opening in the embossed panel! (Die cut inlay!)
3. Stamp and emboss one of the sentiments from the same Gold powder and die cut, before popping up on a couple of layers of cardstock for extra dimension.
