Hey Crafty People!

Today I’m sharing a super easy Infinity Shaker hack! Infinity Shakers are just ones which go right to the edge of your card/panel – think of those posh Infinity Pool photos you see of gorgeous locations.

These types of shakers are also often referred to as full panel shakers and there are loads of new products on the market for creating them. But today I’m showing you how to make these with no specialist products required! (In fact all you need is some recycled packaging! ?)

NEW Distress Colour: Saltwater Taffy

I finally got my hands on the newest Distress colour; Saltwater Taffy so I decided to make three backgrounds to share three different Oxide techniques!

The colour combo that I’m working with in all three cards is the same blend of four Oxides:

• Victorian Velvet
• Saltwater Taffy
• Abandoned Coral
• Wilted Violet

I really love how these four colours work together, and one of these backgrounds is DEFINITELY my favourite! Can you guess which one?

Ombre Ink Blending

It’s no secret that I love ink blending and Oxides are so easy to blend that so long as your ink pads are nice and juicy, you shouldn’t ever need to work hard.

Abandoned Coral > Saltwater Taffy > Victorian Velvet> Wilted Violet.

A little spritz of water gives that fun oxidised texture and I didn’t need to do anything else with this background!!!

This was the easiest card to finish off; I just added a couple of die cuts on the finished shaker.

Ink Smooshing

I absolutely LOVE how this background turned out – it’s by far my favourite! Then I love how I finished this card off too…so this is definitely my favourite card of the three that I’m sharing today!

I’ve shared lots of ink smooshing tutorials, and you can see how I got this gorgeous layered effect in my video tutorial.

The main point to remember is that each layer needs to be dry before you add the next one, if you want those interesting layers.

To finish this card, I used a die cut sentiment that I had sitting out on my desk from a previous crafty session, and several adorable images from the Stinkin’ Cute stamp set. (I had these images coloured & die cut on my desk already too, so I was really happy that I found a forever home for all of them!)

Stencilled Background

I wasnt too sure on this one, but it has definitely grown on me. I blended the same four colours through the Confetti stencil. Then added a light amount of ink across to knockback some of that bright white.

To finish, I added the adorable Panda in a mug with a sweet punny sentiment!
