Today, I’m sharing Glitter shaker card tips…
If you love the look of shakers, but you want a more slimmed down version, then I think this would be the perfect option!
Glitter Shaker Card
- Emboss a panel of WOW cardstock with Midnight embossing powder and die cut the Rattan Arch Die from it. Adhere a panel of acetate to the back of this embossed die cut.
- Die cut a further two of the same Rattan Arches and using a craft knife, cut away the central arch and thin outside frame. Glue these two layers together, then add them to the back of the embossed one.
- IMPORTANT! The most essential top I can give is that you need to make sure every single bit of these pieces is adhered to each other. Glitter will leak from even the teensiest gap!
- Sprinkle Gold Dust into the little Shaker well which will cover the whole ‘Rattan’ cutouts portion.
- Apply liquid adhesive onto the entire raised shaker walls and apply another sheet of acetate. (Again make sure there’s no gaps!)
- Leave the shaker flat on your desk and place something heavy on top whilst it dries to make sure it all seals well. (I left mine overnight to be extra sure! Ha!)
- Once dry, add to an a2 card base.
- Die cut Noel from cardstock with double sided adhesive on top, then cover with the same Gold Dust Sparkles. Add a white die cut, slightly offset for a drop shadow and adhere onto the shaker panel.
