I had so much fun playing with this gorgeous Tulip Glimmer plate that I had to play some more!!!

1. Foil with Black Glimmer foil on white cardstock.
2. Colour with Copic markers. Add the darkest colour at the base of the petals, then work up through three more shades to give shade & dimension. Follow the same technique with green shades for the leaves.
3. Use the coordinating die to cut around the top of the Tulips and cut straight down the edges following the lines of the leaves.
4. Trim a piece of light blue cardstock into an a2 panel and choose a Copic marker that matches. Colour any white space and around the edges then adhere this onto your background panel.
5. Using a ruler and black fineliner, add a border around the whole panel, following that line over onto the bits between the foiled image.
6. Die cut a word die that has a matching shadow piece. For the word, stack up three layers of black and cut the shadow from white. To match the Tulips, colour this white shadow and ombre of the same orange/yellow shades. Adhere onto the blue background.
7. Foil a sub sentiment in Silver Glimmer foil onto black cardstock. Die cut with a stitched sentiment strip die.

*This Tulip Glimmer plate was a Glimmer of the Month from February and it is no longer on the site, so it must have sold out – I didn’t realise this until after I’d used it, sorry.
