Ombre Ink Blending & Tone-on-Tone Stamping

Hey Crafty People!

Today, im sharing this ombre Ink blending & tone-on-tone stamping technique, plus a sneak peek of one of the soon to be released Trios from WOW Embossing Powder!

Create an a2 top-folding card base from WOW’s Superior Smooth Cardstock. Score, but do not fold the base, and use low tack tape to mask off the creaseline so that the back of the card remains clean.
Using foam applicators, blend an ombre of Catherine Pooler inks, starting from the top and blending out to white at the bottom. (Set aside to dry.)
Position the Ampersand Flowers stamp on the lower left hand side of the ink blended panel. Stamp the image in the two darkest inks from the background for a tone on tone look.
Next stamp a sentiment from the same stamp set.
Carefully remove the low tack tape and fold your card base, pressing the crease well.
Die cut the Three Cherry Blossoms dies from Alexandra Renke out of thick white cardstock.
Brush a little ink from the Mixed Media Brush tool, onto the petals of each blossom then add Antique Gold embossing glitter from the new Frosted Jewels Trio. Heat set this.
Use a mix of foam adhesive & liquid glue to add the blossoms onto your card.
Embellish with several of the Renke Glitterstones in matching colours.
