Today I’m sharing a card that I made with the gorgeous Peonies from Pretty Pink Posh to showcase some of the fabulous products available at My Perfect Stamp.
- Stamp various flowers & leaves onto Neenah 80lb in an alcohol friendly ink and allow time for the ink to fully dry before colouring them.
- Use your darkest marker to add shadow at the base of your petals and any folds, then blend this out by working through your markers until you have the full petal coloured. (Use the tip to tip method to help make blending easier if you have a big jump between marker shades.)
- Repeat the same technique using greens for your leaves.
- Fussy cut all of your images and set them aside.
- Onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb, ink blend over the Leaves stencil in Altenew Just Green & Hunter Green, then shift the stencil and blend Minty Mint to create lighter leaves.
- Now, blend the ink that is left on your brush over the whole panel to give the background a very light green colour, just to take away the harshness of the white paper.
- Splatter the panel with some Jet Black ink/watercolour.
- Trim to give 1/8in border around once adhered to an a2 card base. (Neenah 110lb)
- Add the images in a cluster, with some adhered directly to the panel and other popped up on 1 or 2 layers of foam tape for added dimension.
- Add a stamped & die cut sentiment from the Birthday Greetings set and some Sharmrock gems to finish the design.
