Hey Crafty People!
If you love 3d embossing folders, then I have THE BEST hack for really getting the most out of them. I’m sharing that with this Rainbow HexiGems Pride callout!
- To give your cardstock just the right amount of moisture for optimum embossing, swipe a baby wipe across either side of it. This will loosen the fibres of the cardstock and make it malleable enough to take on all of that detail with no cracking in sight.
- Once embossed, set aside to dry.
- Die cut the 3rd smallest HexiGem from a rainbow of cardstocks, then 1x 2nd smallest & 2x smallest from holographic cardstock. (I used some specialist holographic with different patterns in.)
- Foil the HexiGems sentiment set in Matte Gold, on holographic cardstock and die cut with the die.
- To assemble, adhere all of your HexiGems onto the embossed panel, using single or double layers of foam adhesive. Overlap some to offer interesting dimension.
- Adhere the sentiment with foam adhesive wherever it isn’t sitting on one of the shapes.
- Embellish with Essentials mix gems.
