Today I’m sharing what may well be my favourite card that I’ve ever created! I *almost* gave up on it though, so this card was really asking me ‘can I fix my mistakes?’
The Large Die Of The Month for May is such a fabulous set! You get this large ‘you’ die which you can stitch onto, but don’t forget you can use any of the stitching dies without stitching for a fun, decorative look.
Firstly, I cut the shadow piece from some Holographic cardstock, and then I added the letters in white cardstock. (The stitching holes create fun little pops of holographic through the white letters! Love that!)
I paired it with one of the Glimmer Sentiments that came out with May’s Stitched Alphabet collection, and some gorgeous Rainbow ink blending for a fun background.
Unfortunately, there were a few times during the creative process where I realised that I’d made some really silly mistakes and I very nearly gave up on the whole design! After pushing myself to continue, I am so glad i did because this is one of my all time favourite cards!
