Sparkle Dance
- Stamp the images in Copic Friendly ink on Neenah 80lb cardstock.
- Use a dotting technique to colour your images – this makes it SO EASY!
Colour the entire area with your lightest colour, then add dots of your darkest colour in the parts that would have more shadow.
Blend that out by adding dots of the next lightest colour, starting them on the darkest dots and continuing them out a little beyond the darkest.
Continue this through all of your shades, and into the lighter areas.
Finish the colouring by quickly blending a layer of that lightest colour all over the area to soften the dots a little. - Add white gel pen highlights to various places on each image. (I like to add some black Glaze pen to their noses too for some extra detail!)
- Fussy cut the images and set aside.
- Die cut a slimline window panel from Sea Glass Color Crush cardstock, and add some depth by ink blending over the top with a couple of shades of Teal/Turquoise ink.
- Cut pieces of patterned paper, large enough to cover the circular windows and gently blend purple ink onto them, before gluing to the back of the slimline panel.
- Pop up your dancing pets on some foam tape, positioning each one in their own little spotlight.
- Add a mix of sequins across the entire panel – to get a truly random look, try just sprinkling them onto the panel and then glue them where they land! (If there are any you really don’t like the position of that is fine, just leave those ones off!)
- Stamp a sentiment from the Hello Lovely stamp set, and blend over the same inks to give it a tone on tone look against the panel.

Dotted Florals
- Repeat the same steps to colour this large floral image as used in the previous card, add white gel highlights and fussy cut it.
- Mask a border around an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb and layer a simple Geometric stencil over the top of it. (One of Alex’s Stencil designs would be PERFECT for this but I don’t have those, so I just used something from my stash.)
- Ink blend through the stencil with medium pressure, then remove the top stencil and continue lightly ink blending to give a tone on tone finished look.
- Add the floral image with foam adhesive for added dimension.
- Again, a stamped and ink blended sentiment strip is the perfect addition to this style.
- Embellish with some cream heart pieces.
