I’ve been having fun with some new to me items from Pretty Pink Posh and I created a layered butterfly birthday card!

The layered butterflies are super easy to use, and I just ink blended the wings with Seedless Preserves, Victorian Velvet, Saltwater Taffy & Abandoned Coral, bottom to top.
Then I went over with the same colours for the detail layer – I didn’t actually line it up perfectly, but I really don’t think that matters – it’s gorgeous just the same!
After cleaning the detail stencil, I went back over with Ultra Slow Drying embossing ink and added Neutral Ultra Shimmer embossing glitter. This gives a beautiful sparkle, gloss and also darkens those details too.
Once heat set, I used the body stencil to add embossing ink and then used Gold Rich Pale embossing powder for these bits.
I also embossed my sentiment using the same gold powder and die cut them with the coordinating dies.
To help the sentiment stand out better, I put it on a vellum circle, then used little pieces of foam hidden behind the sentiment, to pop the whole thing up on my panel.
A few gems finish it beautifully!
