Hey Crafty People!
I’ve had this Lovely Layers Rose die set waiting to be used for a few weeks now and I finally got chance to play with it! ??
I cut all of the petal layers from Team Tie Dye patterned paper and layered them up with additional pieces of cardstock in between, to give even more dimension.
However, I didn’t add any to the bases of the petals and instead added liquid glue before pinching the bottom of the rose to give a natural shape.
The leaf & stem are from Mossy Green cardstock out of my stash, again adding extra layers for dimension.
Background
For the background I broke out another supply that I’ve been meaning to use for a while!
The Stamping Foam from Simon Hurley, and it is SO MUCH FUN!
After heating it, I pressed it into the Circle Frame die and then used that to emboss the circular pattern in the background!
I used BEE …. embossing powder which is a Honey Bee & WOW Collaboration powder.
Then I embossed the edges of another panel in another of the collaboration powders called BEE….
I embossed the sentiment in that same powder and die cut before assembling all of my card.
