Today I’m joining in the celebration for the FABULOUS new design from the lovely ladies over at Alex Syberia Designs.

I hope that you’re enjoying the hop so far, and you’ve found loads of inspiration for these amazing new products. I’m also hoping that I’ll provide more inspiration too. ?

Molten Golden Thanks

1. Using a flat, wide paintbrush, swipe your chosen watercolour medium across an a2 panel of Distress Watercolour cardstock. (Use more water for a more blended look, or allow your drier brush to skip over the paper for more texture.) Set aside to fully dry.
2. With a small pallette knife, add Texture Paste over the panel, covering over some of the paint, and once you have a thickish application, pounce your pallette knife onto the paste to create texture.
3. Add Polished Gold powder from WOW over this texture paste as soon as possible. (I took the time to clean my pallette and worktop before adding mine.) Set aside to FULLY dry; this can take 24hours plus, depending on how thick your application was.
4. Once dry, heat the powder to activate all of that delicious Golden Glimmer. The gold on top of that paste, oh my it is STUNNING in real life…like it was molten Gold poured straight onto the page. YUM.
5. Die cut and stack 2-3 layers of the detail die from the new Large Thanks die and add this to the painted portion.
6. For a sub sentiment, add one of the fabulous greetings from the new Expressing Gratitude Bundle; I stamped these out several times to die cut and pop in a little pot on my desk…these might just be my favourite thing from this new release! (The sentiment I used was embossed in the same Polished Gold powder.

Floral Background Pattern

1. Create panels of ombre watercolour and set aside to dry.
2. Die cut the Classic Foliage die from those beautiful, coloured panels and for extra dimension, add additional white die cuts behind each one.
3. Arrange on an a2 panel of black cardstock, allowing your leaves to go off the edge of the panel. Trim any that do, and re-use those pieces to fill any gaps in the pattern.
4. Cut the shadow from the same black cardstock but for the detail die cut use some black card that has Glimmer watercolour on. (I used Lindy’s Gold Magical when I was painting my other panels.)
5. Tear off a strip of vellum large enough to hold the thanks, and wrap around to the back of the panel.
6. Add a sub sentiment from the Expressing Gratitude Bundle, embossed in white on black.
7. Embellish with some beautiful gems.

Shopping Your Stash

1. Emboss the gorgeous floral from the previously released Hello Lovely stamp set in Bright Silver embossing powder onto Distress Watercolour cardstock.
2. Add swipes of colour using a flat brush, and your favourite watercolour medium. (I used Lindy’s Magicals for all of the watercolour panels I’ve used today!)
3. For a more blended look, add water to your brush and work from top to bottom in swipes following the same direction to allow those colours to mix more.) Set aside to dry.
4. Die cut the Floral Lattice Cover Die from Off White cardstock and adhere this to an a2 panel of the same cardstock for a tone on tone interest in your background.
5. Once dry, die cut your floral and pop it up on foam adhesive onto your panel.
6. Die cut the Large Thanks (shadow from Silver Mirror cardstock and double stack the detail from the same white cardstock.)
7. Add a stamped & embossed sub sentiment from Expressing Gratitude Bundle.
