Clean & Simple With a Twist
I stamped and die cut both of the beautiful florals from the set, opting for soft yellows & pinks, by using the lightest colours from both the Sunshine In My Pocket and Cherry Blossom ink families. As accents to these flowers, I stamped several leaves, but kept them as just the outline.
I planned out where my floral arrangement would be on an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb, using washi tape to secure these together temporarily. This was because I wanted to stencil some grey leaves onto the background, but I wanted to be sure that they were in the right place to blend into the arrangement.
Once I had these stencilled on I ran the panel through my die cutting machine in the Waffled Diamond embossing folder; this is one of my favourite background techniques right now! You still get the full image or sentiment but with a ton of extra texture thanks to the embossing folder.
I then attached the floral display with foam adhesive tape, and a small sentiment glued flat onto the flowers.

Popped Up Florals
I had so much fun creating this slimline card with lots of soft, gorgeous florals in red & blue. These aren’t the colours that I usually reach for when stamping these layered florals, so I decided it was time to shake things up a bit!
Red Sunset & Glacier Caves families will definitely be ones I reach for more, because I think they look absolutely stunning here!!!
After stamping and die cutting the flowers, I began to add them onto an 8.5 x 3.5 inch panel of Neenah 80lb. I trimmed off any extra that was over the edge and reused that to fill any gaps. (If you’ve not seen me do this technique before, I have a video tutorial of the same technique but with a different Altenew release here.)
This time I finished with a really delicate sentiment die cut, which was from the previous month’s kit, and some clear embellishments from my stash.
