Today we’re celebrating the latest Altenew release, with this Islands in Space Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
I really love the fabulous Artist Markers from Altenew, so I was super excited to join this release of two brand new sets of markers, alcohol inks and colouring pages.

Bright & Bold
I love the whimsical nature of these new colouring pages, and I decided to really lean into it with a bright and bold colour scheme!
For both of my projects today, I used a mixture of the new colours along with older sets of markers.
This one uses:
- NEW Island Garden set: Tea Party (Red), Lapis Lazuli (Blue) Green Meadows (Warm Greens)
- NEW Space Garden set: Fall Harvest (Browns)
- Sunshine Valley Garden set: Green Valley (Cool Greens), Pocketfull Of Sunshine (Yellow)
- Water Garden Set: Sweet Dreams (Teal)
The sentiment is pre printed onto this particular colouring sheet, so all I did for this card is trim the panel down to a2 size and add a squiggly border! So easy and convenient to have these colouring sheets on hand for whenever I fancy a bit of colouring therapy!!!

Calm Colouring & Mindfulness
I went a little more sedate with this one and I actually mainly used only 3 markers to colour the bulk of this panel, but I did add a couple of markers from the new sets too, for contrast.
- Mango Smoothie (Yellow)
- Cotton Candy (Pink)
- Frayed Leaf (Pale Green)
- NEW Island Garden Set: Hunter Green, Just Green (Dark & Mid Greens)
- Water Garden Set: Milk Chocolate (Brown)
This panel was coloured during a fun crafty session with my youngest daughter and one of my nephew’s – I absolutely LOVE taking colouring with me to enjoy whenever I have a free moment to. On this day, we sat at the Dining Table colouring together, whilst my Mom was cooking a meal for us all. If the last couple of years has taught me anything, it is that these are the truly precious moments in life. ?
I finished it up by die cutting a mini slimline panel out of the larger sheet, and the sentiment is from the first Craft Your Life Project Kit – still my favourite! I added a vellum strip to help that small sentiment stand out against the colouring.
