Stretch & Mix Those Supplies
The gorgeous main image from the new Sentimental Flowers is so beautiful and dainty and I decided to play around with it a little bit. (You can see what I did in the video I’ve got linked below.)
I love the look of alcohol ink coloured images with beautiful metallic embossed lines but I just don’t want to risk my precious markers by colouring onto an embossed image. So I decided to ‘hack’ this a little by stamping out my image in Permanent Black ink, using my MISTI, and then colouring that image in using the Water Garden Artist Markers.
Once coloured, I added the panel back into my MISTI and stamped the image again in embossing ink; this is one of the HUGE benefits to using a tool like MISTI, because as long as you leave the stamp in place you can repeat stamp with confidence that you have perfect placement.
I added Platinum Superfine EP from WOW, and heat set. (I also stamped out one of the sentiments with the same ink and embossed in Platinum.)
Getting the glittered backdrop is easy by tracing around the die and then fussy cutting with a little extra to allow for gluing in place. (You can see this process in my video below.)

Floral Canopy
The new Climbing Leaves stamp and die is fabulous because the die allows you to get a beautifully delicate image with lots of open space. (It’s also 6x6inches so it would be great for larger cards too.)
After stamping with Permanent Black and colouring with a variety of green Copic markers, I die cut the panel and trimmed it down to a2 size, then using little pieces of Instant Dimension foam tape I popped the die cut up over a panel of tan cardstock from my stash.
I stamped, coloured & die cut lots of the small floral images from Sentimental Flowers and adhered them across the panel, with a stamped & matted sentiment.
For extra detail, I added small white highlights using a gel pen, then added Satin White sequins.
