Hey Crafty People!
We’re celebrating another FABULOUS release over at Altenew, and we have an inspiration packed blog hop & giveaway!
You can see 3 of the cards i made for this release, along with the supplies I used, here on my blog and then you can hop on through to the next person with the link towards the bottom of my post!
Like Altenew say, find inspiration, win prizes & have fun! ?
Card 1
- Stencil the Festive Greenery 4-layer set onto Neenah 80lb cardstock. Each layer lines up so easily with the last, and you can get extra detail & dimension by adding more than one shade to your leaves layer. I used Volcano Lake all over and added some Lagoon & Emerald in different areas.
- Adhere the panel onto a piece of dark Navy cardstock, leaving a thin border around and adhere offset, onto the top left hand corner of an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb. (This way your white backgrounds match!) Trim off any overhang and set aside for another card.)
- Die cut the Large Joy from glitter cardstock and using the negative pieces, stack onto 2x blue pieces and then position on a blue shadow background. Adhere on foam adhesive onto your card panel.
- Stamp a sub sentiment from Joyful Greetings, in Sapphire ink. Trim out and add on more foam adhesive.
Card2
- Trim the excess from your ink blended panel into two equal strips and adhere onto a panel of Neenah 80lb. I left mine with a diagonal line on one side as I liked that shape, and adhered them with the widest parts on the same side. Trim this down to 3.75in X 5in.
- Dry emboss another a2 panel of Neenah 80lb using the Festive Greenery 3d Embossing Folder and adhere your smaller panel on top with foam adhesive.
- Die cut the Large Joy shadow piece from glitter cardstock this time and stack up 3x layers of the word from more Navy cardstock. Add on your panel with more foam adhesive.
Card 3
- Dry emboss a panel of grey cardstock with the Festive Greenery 3d Embossing Folder.
- Gently, holding the ink pad completely flat, rub the Industrial Diamond Fresh Dye ink pad all over the panel. The ink will transfer onto the highest portions of the panel which will help that beautiful design stand out.
- Stack up the positive piece from card 1’s glitter sentiment on top of 2x layers of blue and add to a blue shadow piece.
- Stamp a sub sentiment from Joyful Greetings in Pure Graphite and trim down
- Adhere your sentiments to the panel, using foam adhesive for dimension.
