Today we are celebrating the release of the Summer Adventure collection from Altenew with a super fun blog hop! I will have the person you should head over to next at the bottom of this post. Or you can head over to Altenew’s post to start from the beginning.

Today I’m sharing these two-for-one backgrounds, and the cards I turned them into, as part of the Altenew Standalone die release blog hop! ?

I used the GORGEOUS new Morrocan Lattice background die from this release to create my backgrounds and I’m loving how they turned out!!!

I cut the die from some Hint of Gold pearlised cardstock that I had in my stash and I was super happy to find almost all of the negative pieces stayed in the die when I lifted the positive background cut out.

I just knew I had to take full advantage of this to create double backgrounds! I love it when that happens! *Chef’s kiss!*

I chose two colours of cardstock I could pair the hint of gold with, using my cardstock swatches, and I settled on some deep turquoise and deep berry ones. I loved the way that subtle gold pearl popped off these darker cardstocks.

I stuck the background panel onto the Turquoise and then I stuck all of the negative pieces onto the Berry. I used the die to help me position them all absolutely perfectly! (Check out my video for more details ?)
