Today I’m sharing a card using Erin Lee Creative products, with a reminder that sometimes we just need to embrace the mistakes!

I almost chucked that mis-foiled panel in the bin, but I’m so glad I decided to salvage it! I’m letting that be the reason I’m smiling today!

1. Start off with any foiled project that just didn’t turn out as good as you wanted – this one just didn’t foil right at all, but I liked that the pattern was pressed into the cardstock in the places where the foil didn’t stick.
2. Cut the foiled panel down with a decorative layering rectangle die. (I linked the fabulous ones I used below!)
3. Stamp your sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink and cover in clear embossing powder. Heat for a beautiful, glossy finish!
4. Die cut this with a smaller die from the same decorative rectangle set.
5. Position the sentiment where you like it on your foiled panel and adhere with a single layer of foam adhesive.
6. Now add a layer of foam adhesive behind the foiled panel and a second layer on any of the sentiment panel that is sitting off the edge.
7. Adhere to an a2 panel of cardstock.
8. Embellish with gems.
