I’m still playing catch up after taking some time off blogging to be with my daughter when she was unwell, so I’m sorry I haven’t been on here as much as I’d like! I do share daily inspiration over on my Instagram though so don’t forget to check there even when I haven’t posted a full blog post! ?

I had some fun with some of my Tubby Craft supplies; I grabbed the Circle Spread stencil, Turquoise & Aqua Blue inks and some Nuvo Glimmer Paste to make this fun and glittery background!

I used Moonstone Glimmer Paste, this one is a clear paste packed with holographic glitter, and that means you can mix it with a colour of your choice to get custom glitter paste! (You can use it as it comes too over coloured backgrounds or cardstock too!)

I mixed each of the inks with some paste and then spread these across the stencil which I taped to a panel of Neenah 80lb cardstock. I aimed for an ombre effect started with Aqua Blue at the bottom and turquoise at the top. I left this to dry overnight.

I stamped the Shark from Best Fishes onto watercolour paper using Jet Black ink and after leaving that to dry for 15 minutes or so I coloured it using my Arteza Real Brush watercolour markers. I fussy cut this once it was dry.

I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set onto a thin sentiment strip, leaving it long so I could cut it down once it was in position.

I blended Aqua Blue onto some more Neenah 80lb and then I used a circle die from my stash to cut it into a circle, this because my grounding element for my little sharky!

I used adhesive foam tape to attach the circle to my stencilled panel, then added my Shark using some more adhesive foam. I tucked my sentiment under the Shark and let it come past the edge of my circle, trimming it to a diagonal end and supporting the portion not on the circle with foam adhesive.
