If you’re looking for the EASIEST way to get a watercolour effect, then this has got to be it!

1. Position your PressPlates on the grey platform of your BetterPress, ink up with BetterPress Black ink and press onto an a2 panel of 100% cotton watercolour paper. Heat set or leave to dry.
2. Press Rose Quartz & Puffy Heart Fresh Dye inks onto a piece of plastic packaging, spritz with the Fine Mister, turn over and press onto the flowers. Dry, then repeat with some Purple Wine to give some darker areas. Allow to fully dry.
3. Repeat with Ocean Waves & Dusk over the Hummingbird. Let dry.
4. Splatter with more of those.ink colours, concentrating on each area in turn. Allow to fully dry.
5. Trim down by 1/8th inch each side and mat onto an a2 panel of black cardstock.
6. For extra dimension, gently colour the flowers, leaves & Hummingbird; adding colour right in the areas that would be in shadow, then very gently shading that out. (You’d be surprised to see just how much of a difference that will make!)
