Today, we’re making these two cards, using a few simple techniques to give a soft, no line colour effect to the florals. This is, for sure, an EASY no line colouring hack!

EASY No Line Colouring

1. Stamp your image using the colour of ink you want to colour it in. Using washing or masking tape, cover the sections you don’t want to stamp to avoid getting ink on them. Using a MISTI or similar is required for this multi stamping technique.
2. Press each ink onto a make shift palette and pick up some colour with a Wink of Stella Brush marker and paint onto the image. Add the darkest colour at the base of the petal and brush it outwards towards the tip. Repeat until all of the petals are coloured. (The Wink of Stella Brush gives that beautifully sparkly finish.)
3. For the stems & leaves, use an ABT Blender Pen to pick up the pigment, for a non sparkly look.
4. Die cut your image, along with a stamped sentiment.

Background

1. Stamp the Novel Prose Bold Print onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb in Pebble ink.
2. On top of this, stamp Celestial Bold Print over the top with Hoodie ink. (For a lighter look, use Pebble again instead.)
3. Cut a strip of vellum and create a detailed edge with Hole Punch Edges dies.
4. Add your image on foam squares to the background, straddling it over the edge of the vellum to secure that in place.
5. Add a thin strip of adhesive tape to the edge of the card panel to hold down the edge of the vellum.
6. Adhere the sentiment and additional images.
7. Embellish with grey gems.
