Hey Crafty People!
Today, I’m sharing a video about embossing digital cut files, using one of the gorgeous cut files released this month by Alex Syberia Designs.
I’m also excited to be sharing my first video using my own Trio of Embossing Powders that were recently released by WOW Embossing Powder. I’m super happy to introduce you to each colour and talk a little about each one too. All whilst offering a unique look at ways to use these stunning cut files.
So, my room kinda…broke…?
Now, the video kinda ends, somewhat…abruptly…or at least the tutorial portion because I had a whole shelf-falling-down-stuff-going-everywhere-screaming-in-terror kinda thing and I clean forgot to hit record again once I could go back in my craft room safely.
So, I can show you how I embossed and put together the cut files pieces, and then show you the finished card – (which is there by the way. ???)
I finished it reallyyyy simply, by just adding a stacked die cut sentiment and the embossed piece to a panel of Neenah 80lb cut down to 4 x 5.25inch and matted onto an a2 panel of Navy cardstock.

Here’s a really good look at the beauty of these new powders; I am absolutely in love with them and I am so grateful to WOW for giving me the opportunity to do this!!!
Plus, when I go into my craft room and see powders with my own name on, it makes me more than a little giddy!!! ???
The top layer is covered in Grey Sky At Night which is a silver and grey powder that works equally well on larger pieces like this as it does embossing small images and sentiments.
The middle layer is Midnight which is a deep Navy/Black with pops of Gold throughout; it really does look like a clear sky at Midnight.
The bottom layer is Twilight, which is a lighter Navy, with pops of silver, black and white.
All of the powders include different grades of powder, which means that they will give you heaps of visual interest & texture! Not to mention that they will give a different look each time you use them.
