This month’s challenge theme is Show Us Your ‘WOW!’ and we want to see your favourite ways to use WOW Embossing Powder in your crafts!

I created a full a2 panel of one of the GORGEOUS new Alexandra Renke powders, Ulla’s Cognac, then I die cut it with a background die from Pinkfresh Studios. I added a die cut sentiment and stamped sub sentiment, then embellished with some white confetti sequins.

I love using the Mixed Media Brush to give the edges of my embossing a distressed look. This looks especially good on coloured cardstock. Here I finished this panel with a stacked hello die cut, where I offset the black one on the top to give me a dropped shadow effect. Then I added a stamped sub sentiment.

I love this mix, called Perissa and I’ve used it to make embossed background panels before. This time I used Buff cardstock and added a stacked hello die cut and stamped sub sentiment. I kept the stamping in the same tone, rather than adding the harshness of black ink.

I absolutely love the over the top sparkle you get from a full panel of Midas Touch EP. I added it to Navy cardstock, then added a die cut sentiment and Butterflies, which I backed with white to help them stand out more.

Black Magic is another powder that I have done this technique loads of times with, and the best thing with these marbling powders is that no two panel will ever look exactly the same! I die cut and layered gold & vellum papers with the Leaf Mix die set, fanning then out before adding a stamped sentiment popped up on foam.

After I heat embossed with the Lavaburst EP, I ran the panel through a dry embossing folder; this is the first time I’ve ever tried this and I absolutely love how it turned out!! I finished it with a stacked hello die cut and some golden sequins.
