I’m super happy to be joining the lovely ladies over at Heffy Doodle as a Guest Designer for the fabulous new release! I’m sharing several different designs using a whole heap of different products from the release, plus I’ve got the details for the awesome giveaway which you won’t wanna miss!

Roll Up…Roll Up…!

1. Cut the base pieces for the new 3D Box Card from sturdy white cardstock and cut the decorative (stitched) pieces from some of the new Greatest Show patterned paper. You can change up your designs by varying the number of rows, or ‘pews’ your finished card has; for this design I used two rows.
2. Assemble the card base (you can check out a a video of how I do this here.) As an extra bit of detail, I also cut the largest base piece from some patterned paper and the stitched piece from white cardstock; use these to make the back of the card fit right in with the aesthetic of the rest of the card. Using the patterned paper for the back piece with a clean white piece on top gives you the perfect base to write on!
3. Die cut the pieces to create both of the At The Circus images from white cardstock and add colour using your preferred method. I used several shades of Copic markers for each colour to give my finished Big Top and Podium some dimension. Assemble with liquid glue and set aside.
4. Stamp several of the images from Two by Two Zoo Animals set in Copic friendly ink and once the ink is dry, colour them. Again, use a few shades for each colour to add depth and for extra detail, finish the shading with some pencil crayon…I love to add pencil crayon over alcohol markers for a bit of something extra that makes those images really POP! Die or fussy cut your coloured images.
5. TIP! Adding little bits of extra detailing really takes your colouring up to the next level; white gel pen highlights can transform a cute critter and Black Glaze pen on eyes & noses gives a realistic shine!
6. Die cut several gold stars (from the Two by Two Zoo Animals coordinating die set) and a sentiment using the new Just For You Heffy Cuts.
7. Assemble your design, adding the Big Top to the back piece and creating small scenes with your prepared pieces on each of the two ‘pew’ pieces.
8. Use strips of thick acetate to hold up your sentiment and several of the stars for a touch of Papercrafting magic! ?

You’re Invited To Party Like a Flock Star!

1. Stamp images from the Flock Star set and allow to dry fully before colouring then using your preferred method. Die cut and add white highlights with a gel pen. Set aside for safe keeping!
2. Once youve chosen your sentiment, using the Moxie Alphabet set, die cut enough letters for you to stack up 3 white with a glitterstock top die cut. For a drop shadow look, offset the glittery die cuts slightly to allow a slither of that white to show. Again keep these safe whilst you work on the background!
3. Cut the Carnival Star cover plate from a piece of the Greatest Show paper and layer this on top of a panel of coloured cardstock.
4. To help your images and sentiment to stand out against this busy background, die cut a panel of vellum using one of the Showtime Frames dies.
5. Add your sentiment, evenly spacing the letters and words to fit your Flock Stars into the middle; pop these up on foam adhesive.
6. Embellish with some of the new Tickled Pink Sparkle Mix.

Sequin Shaker Bubbles

1. Stamp, colour, die cut & highlight your images from Flock Stars & Be Hoppy.
2. Using the smaller pond die from the new Build A Pond set cut a window into a sheet of green patterned paper from the new Spring Breeze paper pad.
3. Using the Imperial set of Mini Scalloped Rectangles cut the green pond panel and then a larger matting piece from another piece of the Spring Breeze paper.
4. Stamp a sentiment from the Flock Stars set onto the pond panel.
5. Using double sided adhesive attach a piece of acetate or plastic packaging to the back of the panel. Before lining the shaker with Heffy’s foam adhesive strips. (The edges of the pond were too close to the end of the panel, so I just used some strategic placement of my images to cover it!)
6. Fill the shaker well with the new Frozen Fractals sequins mix and seal it in with a second piece of acetate/packaging.
7. Adhere some of the blue patterned paper behind the shaker window and use additional foam tape around the outer edges to secure the whole thing onto the larger panel.
8. Position your inages, tucking their edges in slightly under the edges of the pond to give the idea that their feet are below water!
