How To: ‘Hack’ Ink Blending Die Cuts | Video

Hey Crafty People

I love adding custom ink blending to die cuts; you can so easily elevate simple shapes and take your creations to a whole new level.

Adding ink to white die cuts is a fantastic technique, but sometimes you just want to make it a little easier and a lot faster! That’s when I hack the technique by using coloured cardstock to die cut from. You already have a base of colour, which is what takes the most time, so you can just add some simple shading to get an awesome finish!

That’s what I’m doing in today’s video tutorial, and you won’t believe how easy it is!

I layered up my shaded die cuts with some vellum, black mirror and gold mirror cardstocks, I absolutely love doing this with the Leaf Mix die set!!

I tore the edges of my background papers to get a fun pop of texture and I absolutely LOVE how it turned out!!!

I didn’t have a sentiment that worked for this specific card, so I typed one up myself and added a thin border round it. I finished the sentiment off by adding gold foil! Perfect!

Thank you for stopping by today, if you’re new here I’d love it if you could follow my blog and maybe even check out some of my other social media links.
