I absolutely LOVED making this slimline card with some of the awesome goodies from WOW Embossing Powder’s latest release!!

For the background I used the new slimline Lotsa Bubbles stencil to add Catherine Pooler Cummerbund ink.

These inks dry slower than most dye inks and so they can be embossed, but with this large an area I didn’t think I could get everything inked and then get the powder on fast enough.

So I left the panel to dry for a few minutes before adding some Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink over the top, using a small blending brush that I keep solely for this ink.

Then I added the new, inspired by Catherine Pooler, Cummerbund embossing glitter; you can use this on its own, but putting it on top of its matching ink kicks the intensity up a few thousand notches and….WOW!

I covered a piece of scrap Neenah 80lb in embossing ink then sprinkled on some Gold Ultra High, before adding Sparkling Sand embossing glitter to give me a sandy bottom to my fun slimline swimming soiree.

I just cut this panel to make it mimic sand dunes type of thing and added a couple of slots that I would be able to tuck bits into when I assembled everything.

I glued this sandy shore onto the bubbles panel, being careful to leave a space underneath the two slits to allow me to slot the bits in.

I stamped, coloured and die cut a whole bunch of Lawn Fawn Sea creature images. (I used various sets but they’re all linked below.)

I glued these down with a mixture of liquid glue and adhesive foam tape to give my scene added dimension & interest.

I added a simple sentiment, again Lawn Fawn, and trimmed it down to a strip with an angled edge.

I added some Glossy Accents to each little stamped bubble and I called it done! ?
