Today, I’m sharing two Milestone Birthday card ideas; these designs couldn’t be much further apart but they both use the new Stitched Numbers set from Spellbinders.

Card 1

1. Die cut your stitched numbers from blue metallic satin cardstock. Add simple two toned stitching using black & Silver Metallic threads. Secure from behind with strong liquid glue and adhere with foam adhesive onto a silver mirror cardstock shadow.
2. The background is made up of 4 mini panels of Kaleidoscope Plaid layering dies. Cut the bottom piece from the same cardstock used for the numbers, then use Silver Mirror & a darker blue metallic satin cardstock for the other two layers. Layer them up, with liquid glue around the edges and then adhere them down onto an a2 panel.
3. Die cut a sentiment from the Stylized Slimline panel set and adhere it onto a piece of the darker blue. Trim to get a really thin border.
4. Adhere the numbers and sentiment onto a rectangle vellum die cut and then adhere this onto the background.
5. Embellish with adhesive gems.

Card 2

1. Die cut your numbers from Rose Gold Brushed cardstock and embroider from the centre out in Purple floss. Using Gold metallic thread, add a French Knots to each of the outer points. Secure from behind with glue and adhere onto gold shadow pieces with double thick foam.
2. Die cut the various pieces needed to the make the Layered Floral piece twice and layer them up as per the guidelines on the back. Adhere them onto an a2 panel of the same white cardstock.
3. Adhere your numbers and add a reverse foiled Happy Birthday sentiment.
4. Embellish with lots of adhesive gems!
