Hey Crafty People!
I am loving that neutral with a pop of colour aesthetic right now! Mix that with a SUPER quick card that came together from my stash of bits I’ve made previously but not used and you get the perfect ‘Oh no! I need a card NOW!’ make!
I love to keep a stash of images, sentiments, backgrounds, a bit of everything really, to one side in my craft space and if I’m in a mega rush, or aren’t feeling too inspired then I grab a few pieces and have an almost ready made card good to go! This one came together in less than 5 minutes (and I’m a slow crafter!)
I stamped out this grey background with the Diamond background from Altenew during a previous crafty session, but decided to go another way so it was the perfect starter for this project!
I had these three flowers that I previously painted and fussy cut, so I stuck them onto a white stitched hexagon die cut.
I grabbed a grey stamped sentiment and laid it onto the background before popping the hexagon up with foam tape.
The sentiment strip wasn’t standing out as much as I wanted it to, so I grabbed a grey brush marker and just added a freehand line above and below.
I finished it with some blue sequins and a white card base!
