Lets make two cards with the exact same design, but switching up the technique for different results!

No Masking Needed

1. Stamp the gorgeous Fox from the Craft Your Life: Nordic Wonderland set onto Neenah 80lb in Obsidian Pigment ink and emboss in Superfine Clear Gloss from WOW! Embossing.
2. Colour with Artist’s Markers really simply, with just a single colour over the entire area; no need to blend & add shadows.
3. Die cut and set aside.
4. Stamp a sentiment with Obsidian and trim out into a thick sentiment strip. Set this aside also whilst you work on the background.
5. Cut an a2 panel of light grey cardstock and position in your MISTI with the large border pattern design from the.Nordic Wonderland set.
6. Stamp with Silver Stone Fresh Dye ink.
7. Adhere your Fox & sentiment onto the panel with foam adhesive.
8. Embellish with white adhesive dots.

Now Let’s Mask It!

1. Position your fox & a sentiment in place on an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb in your MISTI. Stamp with Obsidian Pigment ink and emboss in Superfine Clear Gloss powder from WOW.
2. Stamp the fox a second time onto Altenew Masking Paper and die cut. (You will be left with a ‘halo’ round your image if you die cut, so of you don’t want this look then you can also fussy cut it to the line.) Stick your mask over your fox on your A2 panel.
3. Position your border stamp again, and stamp with Limestone Fresh Dye ink this time.
4. Remove your mask and colour your fox in the same way as your previous one!
