Today, I’m using a bundle of products from Scrapbook.com, I’m loving their bundles for great quality and value. I’ll be using one simple design with different patterned papers to create a whole bunch of cards quickly!

One simple design using the Joyful Bundle and patterned paper pads

1. Cut a 4 x 5.25-inch panel from 6 of the patterned papers from the collection.
2. Adhere double-sided foam adhesive to the back of more pieces of the papers to cut out the large “hi.”
3. Die cut the shadow pieces from the papers too.
4. Stamp sub sentiments from the stamp set onto some of the solid colour papers and emboss in Polished Gold. Trim into strips.
5. Stamp butterflies onto the card panels and emboss with Polished Gold.
6. Now’s the fun bit! Mix and match the backgrounds, shadow pieces, and large “hi” until you’re happy with the way it all looks.
7. Adhere all of the pieces to create 6 cards, perfect for so many occasions!

BONUS Card

1. Don’t throw away the scraps! Trim them into differently sized strips.
2. Adhere these strips in a random order along the full 5.25-inch length of a panel of cardstock.
3. Cut a 2-inch strip from another panel of white cardstock. Remove this strip and add the negative pieces on either side, allowing the colourful strips to show through the cut-out area.
4. Use gold mirror cardstock to cut out the “hi” sentiment and add it to the panel.
5. Finish off by embellishing with gold baubles for an extra touch of sparkle.

I actually ended up loving this bonus card the most! Ha!ha!ha!

Now you have a whole bunch of notecards ready to use for any occasion. Or why not wrap them all nicely and give as a gift? You could even die cut all of the pieces, and create a card kit with adhesive, envelopes and everything that’s needed to finish the cards and give that as a fun DIY gift?! (Depending on their crafty experience, you could add a sample card or card sketch of this one simple design to help spark their creativity!

You can also apply these ideas and designs with whatever your favourite patterned papers, dies & stamps you have in your stash!
