Welcome to the Scrappy Tails and Pear Blossom Press Collab Hop! Today, we’re sharing lots of whimsical cards that will really brighten your day. They feature dreamy new stamps and dies from Scrappy Tails, and with a little help from Pear Blossom Press, they all light up! I absolutely love these products and I was so inspired that I made two cards; one using the EZ-Lights and another using the new Halo lights! ?
I wanted to show you just how easy it is to use these lights (they aren’t called EZ for nothing ?) so I have got a video to show you all of the assembly, but I didn’t want it to be tooo long so I haven’t included the colouring/ink blending etc.
Fairytale Illuminations
I absolutely ADORE the all over starry stencil that comes as part of the 3piece Starry Sky stencil set. I decided to add Ultra Slow Dry embossing ink through the stencil using a small blending brush and I embossed it with one of my new Embossing Powders; Midnight. (Moonlight Trio, SO excited!)
I stamped the stunning Fairy Girl image onto some Neenah 80lb cardstock and coloured using Artist Markers. I fussy cut the image.
I also stamped the image onto some heat resistant acetate and I embossed it in Teal Lustre, which is another new release powder. I fussy cut this out so that I just had the wings portion. I creased the wings out so that they would sit up from the image. I LOVE how that looks! (I was inspired by BiBi Cameron’s recent video.)
I embossed my sentiment in Grey Sky At Night, also one of my new powders!
I fitted the an EZ Light, poking holes through the background to let the light shine. (Please check out my video to see how!)

Disco Moon
I had SO MUCH FUN with this card and it was a complete experiment, but I am psyched for how it turned out!!!!! I’ve used a Halo light, some foil ans holographic cardstock to make a Disco Moon which shoots out Rainbows every time the light comes on!!!
I used the layered moon stencils from the Starry Sky stencil set and die cut it with a circle die from my stash.
The stars and border are all from the gorgeous A2 Cloud Border die set. Stunning!

Awesome cards! I love the night sky and the sweet fairy image! Pretty moon too! The lights look fabulous!
The card is so pretty, love it when you get to guess what’s going to light up, then press the button and get a row! Like the scrolling pictures, but wait a minute…. holographic paperrrrrr no one has done that and that is genius! Fun! The dies are so so pretty and then add light. Yes please!
