Today I’m sharing this card using some fabulous products from Erin Lee Creative, and I’m sharing my top tip for positioning die cuts PERFECTLY with ease! ?

Card Recipe!

1. Foil the Scales hot foil plate using Speckled Prism Glimmer foil – I didn’t get a brilliant transfer, which I think was down to the cardstock that I used and maybe needing an extra shim. I still use my far from perfect panels though because even with some flaws they’re still GORGEOUS! ?
2. Ink blend an ombre fade using Catherine Pooler inks and some domed foam applicators. (Colours linked in supplies below.)
3. Once dry, die cut using the A2 Rounded Accent Die. Pop this up on foam adhesive onto an a2 panel of Cherry Red cardstock.
4. Die cut the Let’s Party word die from the same Cherry Red cardstock and stack this up on multiple white layers.
5. The die cuts several seperate pieces and to get the perfect placement everytime I have a super easy hack!!! ?

Crafty Placement Hack!

1. Cut a piece of Press N Seal and lay it on your desk sticky side up. (If you’ve never tried Press n Seal, it’s a VERY mildly sticky film, similar to a thick cling film, and it clings onto anything you press it on. The best bit is that it peels off super easily and leaves no sticky residue!)
2. Lay one of the negative pieces you die cut the word die from, upside down, so that the front of the cardstock is against the Press n Seal.
3. Puzzle piece all of your die cuts into this, gently pressing them into the Press n Seal. (How many times am I going to say Press n Seal?! ??)
4. Add some liquid glue to the back of all of the pieces and lift the whole thing up to position it where you want it on your card front.
5. Leave the glue to dry fully, then carefully peel back the Press n Seal, before taking off the negative die cut piece.

Perfect placement everytime!!!

Embellish with red gems!
