Hey Crafty People!

Today we’ve got Rainbow Roses and Gilded Letters for this personalised card design.

I made this card a while back but I never got round to posting, and seeing as how Spellbinders have a new UK website and an awesome offer, now seems as good a time as any! ?

1. Die-cut three of the letter ‘t’ from the Spellbinders’ Stitched Alphabet (110lb Neenah) and glue these together. (My intended recipient’s name begins with ‘t’ ?)
2. Apply Gilded Foundry Wax to the top of this letter, covering it all then quickly heat setting. For a more solid metallic covering, apply several layers, heat setting between each.
3. Glue this all down onto a vellum shadow layer and set aside.
4. Die cut several of the arch die from the Arched a2 & Slimline Card Creator. (May 2021 Small Die of the Month) Glue these together and then add to an a2 panel for an interesting, yet clean & simple background.
5. After foiling the elements from Glimmer Edge Roses in Rainbow foil, use the Solid Plate to get the reverse and die cut. (Glimmer of the Month March 2022)
6. Also, foil & die cut several foliage pieces from the Geo Floral set in Gold foil.
7. Adhere the larger floral pieces with foam tape, and attach the metal-look stitched letter on top.
8. Then slot in the foliage pieces until you have an arrangement that you’re happy with.
9. You can add an additional sentiment if you want to but I decided to keep mine as is until I decide what occasion I will send this for.
