Today I’m sharing this idea to glitz up one of my go-to background techniques for this Christmas card and I’m calling it Rubies & Gold.

Step by Step

1. Cut three layers of Noel die cuts and glue them together to form a solid die cut word.
2. Cover the top of this die cut with WOW embossing ink and emboss in the GORGEOUS Red Glimmer powder from the new Christmas Tinsel Trio.
3. Stamp a sub sentiment from WOW’s Peace, Love & Joy stamp set, and trim it down with a paper trimmer.
4. To glitz up an ink swiped background, I used an Altenew Gold pigment ink pad onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb.
5. Assemble the card, with foam adhesive behind the sun sentiment.
