I’ve gone all pastel for the latest release by Rachel Vass Designs and created a super sweet slimline anniversary card.

I sized & printed the image using print & cut so that my Cameo 4 would cut the whole image out for me, I love doing this because I am not great with fussy cutting at all, so this allows me to save my hands & energy for colouring instead! ?

As I have mentioned, ohhhh so many times in the recent weeks, I am having a serious Copic drought with no refill restock over here yet. ???? So I had to choose some colours that are not my go to’s for an image like this; I love deep, impactful reds and purples for my florals, it must be the Drama Queen in me! Unfortunately, because they are my go to’s they are also the first colours that ran out, along with all my favourite greens too! Anyone would think I colour a lot of flowers… ??

So this time I reached for some of the lighter colours that don’t get too much use in my Craft Room, but it has definitely helped me discover some new colour combinations that I just adore, so there’s the silver lining.

I absolutely LOVE the peachy pink of those Roses, I’m so happy with how they turned out!!

Once I had all of my images coloured in, I spritzer a mixture of water and Perfect Pearls that I have in a mini mister over the whole thing.

I trimmed down a teal cardstock and a piece of Vellum, so that the Teal would take up the whole of the card front and the Vellum would sit on top, leaving 1/4 inch border of the Teal. Once they were dry, I used foam tape to add the flowers to the Vellum then I could easily glue the vellum onto the Teal using all of that lovely hidden space underneath the flowers!

For once, I decided not to embellish this one, because those sparkling flowers are all the extra bling I needed!
