Hey Crafty People!

I’ve posted quite a few creations that I made for the recent collaboration between Crafty Meraki and WOW Embossing Powder…I still have more to come because I was just SO INSPIRED by these gorgeous products! I still have more ideas of things that I’d love to do with them too!!!

Stunningly Simple Stripes in 1-2-3

1. Swipe several ink pads across an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb, no need to worry about keeping them perfectly straight or an equal distance from each other. (Personally, I love the Catherine Pooler Mini Ink Pads for this because they are so juicy and vibrant! One swipe is all you need for intense stripes of colour!)
2. Add thin strips of double sided adhesive tape over the coloured stripes. (Let the ink dry well before you move onto this step to get the best stick.)
3. Add Sparkles over each of the stripes. These Superfine glitters will stick SO WELL! Just burnish the glitter stripes, give the panel a few taps and sweep off any excess and that glitter will not move at all!

From Background to TWO Cards in a Flash!

1. Stamp the gorgeous Fluttering Feathers background stamp to create a second, super quick background. (I stamped this black panel after I had stamped it in pink…I thought I had the ink completely cleaned off but I have a definite pink tinge to the edges, and I’m not going to lie…I’m not mad at it! It accidentally works perfectly for this, but we will just pretend it was intended all along! Sssshh!)
2. Die cut the large word die from each panel and swap them over for a die cut inlay look. (Don’t forget the little bits for between the letters etc!)
3. Add die cut sub sentiments and bling up both cards with some GORGEOUS Meraki Sparkle Rainbow Butterflies!
