I decided that for Day 2 of our Collab it was Go Big or Go Home and I was not ready for bed yet! ?

This mixed media, multi technique design was fun to make and I managed to get a whole bunch of products from both companies into this single card…so let’s check out how I did it!

Go Big or Go Home…

1. Mask off the upper half of an a2 panel and stencil in a very light grey ink onto the bottom half.
2. Now shift your stencil down and to the left slightly before adding a slightly darker grey.
3. Repeat step 2 with your darkest grey…you get this trippy double-vision style design whic I think can be so fun!
4. Shift the mask to cover the bottom half and apply Matte Texture Paste through the same stencil.
5. Add Frosted Glass Embossing Powder to the Texture Paste and fully heat set.
6. Smoosh a WOW ink pad onto a sheet of cardstock and then cover the entire thing with the Silk Road Trio powders. (Add one at a time, so as not to contaminate each other.
7. Die cut the Foliage dies from the embossed cardstock for a fun mix of colours. Also die cut some from.plain Vellum too.
8. Lay down a strip of heat safe double sided adhesive and cover it in Polished Gold embossing powder. Heat set for a super shiny, yet heavily textured strip and trim this off.
9. Position your leaves on this strip, so they are attached from behind and peeking out of either side. Attach to the background panel with a strip of foam adhesive.
10. Include a sentiment from the AMAZING Expressing Gratitude set, embossed in that same Polished Gold.
