Hey Crafty People!

For a super simple & quick Poinsettia, I stamped the largest image onto some Cherry Red cardstock using my InkOn3 Blackout ink.
I also stamped a few of the leaves from the same stamp set, onto Emerald Isles cardstock.

This gives me a base colour for my images, which just speeds everything up, so much!!! It’s really, such an efficient way to colour!
Once the ink had time to dry, I used a single red and a single green Copic to add some shading onto the images. 

I don’t have the die, so I fussy cut the images and set them aside whilst I worked on my background.

Adventures In Foiling

So far, I think that the Matte Gold foil may just be my favourite; I absolutely love the way it adds a more subtle shine to projects.
These Brushstroke Plates are amazing, paired with the matte foil for the perfect backdrop to my Poinsettias. The foil elevates what could be a very simple card and just makes it something more.

I used some panel dies from my stash to cut the foiled panel down and matted it onto a larger die cut panel of Rusty cardstock.
I really like the small sentiments that come in the Poinsettia stamp set, so I chose a simple Merry Christmas.
Some foam adhesive behind my focal images and a a few of these gorgeous sequins finish the card beautifully.
