Mixed Media Butterfly

1. Spritz an a2 panel of watercolour or mixed media cardstock, before running through your die cutting machine in the new Mariposa 3d Embossing Folder.
2. Tap two colours of Magicals powders across the Butterfly and then spritz with water to allow the pigments to flow. (Repeat this step until you are happy with the distribution of colour.)
3. Once dry, gently apply white pigment ink over the details of the Butterfly with one of the Detail Blending brushes.
4. Add a sentiment of your choosing. (This is from one of the free incentive sets for this month, I will link it once it is available on the site.)

Embossed Watercolour Background

1. Spritz water all over an a2 panel of mixed media cardstock, before adding several different shades of green liquid watercolour, either from the Watercolour Brush Markers or the Refills. Encourage the colours to flow and blend into each other, then add a few drops of the Silver liquid watercolour.
   Set aside to dry.
2. Once dry, lightly spritz the panel from behind and run through your machine in the new Hosta 3d embossing folder.
3. Die cut three of the leaves from either the Leaf Mix or Tropical Leaf Mix, backing any really open ones with vellum. (Just cut around the leaf once the adhesive is dry.)
4. Add a strip of vellum, attaching it by wrapping it around each side and adhering it to the back of the panel. Then add the three leaf die cuts, using small pieces of foam adhesive for dimension.
5. Again, this sentiment is from the same incentive set. Stamped in Obsidian and die cut with the coordinating dies.
6. Embellish with Satin White sequins.

Embossed Metal – Silver

1. Run a panel of silver mirrored cardstock through in the new Motif Tile 3d embossing folder. (You may need to play around with your die cutting sandwich, as you may need less or more pressure for mirror cardstock.)
2. Trim a rectangle of vellum, to sit over the silver to soften the pattern & shine a little.
3. Layer three of the Fancy Yay die cuts from Neenah cardstock for extra dimension. (Add double sided adhesive to the cardstock before die cutting to make this loads easier!)
4. Once stacked up, attach this sentiment directly onto the vellum, before using liquid glue behind the vellum, hiding it behind the ‘yay’.
5. Then put it in place over the embossed silver piece and place something over to hold it in place whilst it dries.

Embossed Metal – Gold

1. For this one, use gold mirror cardstock and the Starburst 3d embossing folder.
2. Using the ‘Reach From The Stars’ set, die cut the detail sentiment die from navy cardstock, and the shadow layer from vellum. (Stack the navy die cuts up three layers for added dimension.)
3. Add a strip of vellum diagonally across the gold panel, again folding it over the edges and adhering from the back of the panel. Then use liquid adhesive hidden behind the navy die cut to attach the sentiment.
4. Use Instant Dimension foam tape behind the gold panel to attach to a card base.
